Its a late 1930s Cleveland full pearl with solid silver neck, owned for 25+ years by its present owner, a qualified instrument repairer, who has completely overhauled it twice in that time. I go up to Scotland regularly, and can bring it with me. I mentioned elsewhere Im on the trail of a Super 20 Alto and it may come to fruition.

It comes in what I assume is the original case. 1946 King Super 20 Special Alto Sax/Saxophone, Plays Great 1,499.99 + 78.00 shipping + 78.00 shipping + 78. I don’t know the service history, but the pads look in good condition, and the sax plays great, from top to bottom. It has the engraving on the bell key cups, which didn’t happen on the later versions. King Super 20 baritone, King Super 20 tenor, King super 20 alto, and King Saxello soprano saxophone. Horn has a lovely 100 original lacquer finish with nickel silver outer tubing for the slides and a nickel silver mouthpiece receiver. King Zephyr Special tenor and alto saxophones. There are a couple of very minor pings/indents, but these are barely noticeable, and will again have no impact in sound, or playability. I can only think that someone has stored their sling in the bell and the metal clasp has caused scratches. I have tried to show it in one of the pictures. This is purely cosmetic, and has no impact on sound. You will see from the pictures that there is lacquer loss and little bits of pitting to the lacquer.
